APS Knocks it out of the park!

APS Saves The Day!
I would like to offer a special thanks for the dedication and urgency that APS put on our outage this week. I don't know exactly how many power poles got knocked down because of our recent storm but I did see all of the trucks off the side of 95 that were needed to get us powered back up.
If I wasn't on a fixed income I would buy every APS employee a cold one. It can't be easy to try to reconnect power in the middle of a rain storm, let alone stick a 30 ft. pole in the ground.
My hat is off to you and everybody on your crews that went the extra mile to restore our power.
Thank you,
Q_Town Defender

Today was a really great day! It was really nice to see everyone get together and pay tribute to our fallen. Fire Chief Hess was the guest speaker and Mike Davis, commander of the local VFW post, read a very touching story and also coordinated the whole event along with his comrades and auxilaries.

It always makes me feel good when I see people come together. After the memorial we were all invited to the local VFW to have cake. I don't know about everybody in Q-Town but I would like to see us all get together like today for no reason at all. Just to hang out and enjoy the people around us.
It seems you can't ever learn enough in this world and when I get around the people in this town it always seems I learn something new or get to learn of an experience, especially from the older generation, that will probably help me along in my own life. Chief Hess helped me realize that there are soldiers in our own back yards that are fighting a war for us here. I always related Memorial Day to soldiers, but now realize that the Fire Fighters, EMT's, our Law Enforcement and a numerous amount of other people here state side that lay their life on the line to make sure that our day goes just a little easier.
I would like to thank all of those individuals that serve our great nation.
